It is a very accessible guide that's filled with interesting and useful information on color and light. It's fortunate we have so many colors today at our disposable, and now with this book /5. I feel entitle to half my money I purchase a book titled "colour and light in water colour" I want a book on the subject with detailed examples for my price is too high to see page after page of stock photos of sterile tubes/pans of paint. I could make the same comments on many books of this price range and genre. NOT SATISFIED!/5(49).

No one light is better than another (white or yellow), yet a bright light is extremely important in reading which is why people with presbyopia read better during the day compared to at night. Color plays a big role in creating the look and feel of any book cover design. The dominant colors in an image influence mood and play a role in creating the contrast necessary to draw attention to the design.
